Hummus is a healthy, tasty snack that can be used as a dip or in things like wraps and salads.
- Chick Peas
- Lemon Juice
- Cayenne Pepper
- Olive Oil
Step 1: If using raw chick peas place in a bowl and cover with water.
Step 2: Leave overnight (or around 10 hours).
Step 3: Add chick peas, lemon juice and spices to food processor.
Step 4: While food processor is running, pour in olive oil until it becomes a smooth paste or to your liking.
Step 5: Place in a bowl and garnish with herbs (parsley or coriander are good) for presentation.
Step 6: Drizzle with a little olive oil and serve with vegetable sticks.
