Many companies who promote fad weight loss diets have numerous ways of manipulating pictures to make their products look more appealing.
If the weight loss claims seem too good to be true then they definitely are.
The healthy weight loss for body fat is 1-2lbs per week, many of these diets claim to help you lose 5lbs (or more) a week. If this is the case then you will be burning lean tissue (muscle), and you will be more likely to put all the weight back on plus extra.
